Arcadio Blasco Pastor (Mutxamel, Spain, 1928 - Madrid, Spain, 2013) is one of the most renowned artists from Alicante in the 20th century. A Spanish artist and creator who entered the world of art as a painter, only to finally find his vocation as a ceramist, an art in which he stood out within the Spanish avant-garde movements of the 1960s. Blasco synthesised pottery, ceramics, sculpture and abstraction, without any of them losing their essence, materialising them in reliefs, stained glass and sculptures.
