"Synthetic Future"

"Synthetic Future" by artist Alejandro Monge explores the fragile boundary between humanity, technology, and contemporary isolation. Through monumental sculptures that merge organic and synthetic materials, the exhibition reflects on a hyperconnected world where physical presence no longer guarantees emotional connection. Monge’s figures inhabit suspended, introspective spaces, embodying the tensions between reality and mediation, movement and stillness, intimacy and disconnection. Rather than imagining a distant future, the exhibition reveals how the synthetic has already become part of our everyday experience, questioning what remains profoundly human in an increasingly artificial world.
