"Diálogo" Judith Egger & Mirjam Kroker, about "Traversing the un thought"

[English version below] La exposición "Traversing the unthought" pone en diálogo las obras de Judith Egger y Mirjam Kroker, presentada en Aural Madrid del 23.02 al 12.04.2021. Las artistas a través de este proyecto y a pesar de no haber tenido la ocasión de conocerse personalmente, han tenido la ocasión de dialogar sobre sus propios intereses y puntos de vista acerca de las obras que la forman. Este es el punto de partida del proyecto donde Judith y Mirjam a modo de correspondencia y de manera casual nos presentan diferentes reflexiones y conceptos sobre los métodos artísticos y científicos cercanos a nuestro entorno natural; entre los que van emergiendo otras obras relacionadas de su trayectoria como el documental "Alphabel of winds" 2020, que Judith Egger realizó junto su padre, el meteorólogo Dr. Joseph Egger, o las obras de Mirjam Kroker “The Intelligent Ear” 2018 y el dibujo realizado para este intercambio “The intelligent Eye dosen't Equal The intelligent Eye”. El material creado está compuesto por diversas técnicas (entre las que encontramos acuarelas, manuscritos, fotografías, documentos digitales o links) que completan la información sobre la exposición. - - - Transcripción en castellano disponible pinchando en cada imagen y en Más detalles. - "Conversaciones" forma parte del programa de Aural, tiene la intención de presentar la dimensión pensadora y la actitud vital de los artistas y las exposiciones que realiza. Texto curatorial y enlaces a la exposición están disponible a pie de página. ___ The exhibition "Traversing the Unthought" , that took place in Aural Madrid from February 23rd to April 12th, opens up a dialogue between Judith Egger and Mirjam Kroker. Through this project of conversations, and despite the fact that they haven’t met in person, these two artists had the opportunity to connect with each other, discuss their own interests and share their thoughts on the pieces from the exhibition. This is the starting point from where Judith and Mirjam, via exchange, have developed a series of reflections and ideas on the artistic and scientific methods related to our natural environments. From this conversations, other previous projects were put into discussion; like the documentary "Alphabel of winds" (2020), which Judith Egger produced in collaboration with his father, the meteorologist Dr. Joseph Egger; or Mirijam Kroker’s "The Intelligent Ear" (2018) and "The intelligent Eye dosen't Equal The intelligent Eye" (2021), a drawing created due to these conversations. The pieces have been produced in very different techniques (watercolors, manuscripts, photography, online documents, links, etc) and they complete the exhibition.
